BMI Body-Mass-Index

The BMI describes the connection between weight and height. Body-Mass-Index helps you determine whether you are underweight, average weight or overweight.

Obesity is a dangerous risk factor for many diseases like high blood pressure, diabetes mellitus or stroke. Achieving normal weight should be a goal for both high risk patients and, as a precaution, for healthy individuals.
